Classroom scheduling at Yale is a collaborative process between faculty, departments, student organizations, and the Registrar’s Office designed to match courses and events with appropriate spaces across the university.

Yale faculty and staff wishing to book a room for an academic event may use 25Live(Link is external) (Link opens in new window). Consult the Training Resources page for assistance.

Undergraduate organizations must register with the Yale College Dean’s Office each year. Once registered, student groups wishing to request classroom booking privileges must take the Classroom Use and Booking Tutorial, review the Building Use Guide for Yale University Classrooms, and forward a signed copy of the Classroom Use Agreement(Link opens in new window) to classrooms@yale.edu. For more information on registered student groups, refer to the section Student Organizations(Link is external) (Link opens in new window) under Campus Life on the Yale College Dean’s Office website(Link is external) (Link opens in new window).

Graduate student groups and organizations should first contact the McDougal Center in the Hall of Graduate Studies(Link is external) (Link opens in new window) about meeting spaces.

Professional school student organizations must be registered with their respective school or administrative unit and listed online as active in Yale Connect.

For more information on registered student groups, please refer to Yale Connect or to student affairs staff in your respective school. Registered graduate and professional student organization members can make requests for rooms through 25Live.
