CourseLeaf: Course Management, Registration Guides & Publications

Yale’s Curriculum Management System

Streamlining Yale’s academic planning from course creation to student discovery.

CourseLeaf at Yale University is a curriculum management system that allows departments to manage course proposals and attributes (CIM), course offerings (WEN), and supports the publication of school bulletins online (CAT).

Yale College and the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, as well as several professional schools, use one or all of the CourseLeaf curriculum management modules.

WEN

for Class Scheduling

WEN is the class scheduling module. All the course offerings that appear in Yale Course Search are scheduled in WEN by term. WEN has functionality for the setup of specific course parameters to help with course registration, such as maximum enrollment, instructor permission, and registration holds.

Publications Management Module

The CAT module is the primary editing tool for many Yale University bulletins and other academic publications. It provides content owners the opportunity to review their program descriptions and major requirements on a yearly basis.  See our step-by-step guides for Yale College (YCPS) and the Graduate School Bulletin.  For support, email Beth Baumgartel.
